Lindsay recently released her highly anticipated sophomore album “FOR A MOMENT, I” on October 17, 2025, in collaboration with producer Alex Meade. The project further solidifies her status as a rising powerhouse emerging from the small but vibrant city of Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Lindsay’s musical journey began at a young age—it is said she came out of the womb singing. She has been performing professionally and writing music since just 10 years old. Over the years, she has accumulated a wealth of experiences and opportunities that have contributed to her reputation as an artist to watch, particularly in the Maritime region of Canada.

Notably, Lindsay has been a key figure in the Halifax music scene as the leader and lead vocalist of the nine-piece Soul and R&B band Lindsay Misiner & The 7th Mystic. The band achieved local success with the release of their self-titled full-length album on April 12, 2023, which earned them a nomination for “Best R&B/Soul Recording of the Year” at the 2024 East Coast Music Awards and “Best R&B/Soul Recording of the Year” and “Best New Artist Recording of the Year” at the 2024 Music Nova Scotia Awards. They toured various parts of the East Coast from 2015 to 2023 and were also nominated as Best R&B Band in The Coast’s “Best of Halifax” in 2023.

In addition to her work with the band, Lindsay has actively built a thriving solo career—performing hundreds of shows, consistently releasing new music, and collaborating with other artists. In April 2024, she released her single “LOVE” along with a live in-studio video, which received an enthusiastic response. She followed this with a series of singles leading up to her second album.

Misiner’s momentum has steadily accelerated in 2025, beginning with the pre-album release “1 Foot In 1 Foot Out” in March 2025, which surpassed 160,000 Spotify streams. The follow-up single “SOLO,” released in April, expanded her reach even further by earning her first major US and Canadian Apple Music editorial placements, including New in R&B, Breaking R&B, Brown Sugar, and Soul Revival. That trajectory continued with “I Saw an Angel,” released on September 5, which debuted on five major Apple Music playlists on day one of release—an especially notable milestone for an Atlantic Canadian artist. The success carried into the release of her full-length album FOR A MOMENT, I on October 17, 2025, whose lead single “Making Love Music” landed five major Apple Music playlists on release day as well as Spotify editorial support from Mood Ring, Fresh Finds, and Equal Canada. These milestones mark meaningful steps in Misiner’s expanding international presence as she continues to grow her fanbase across Nova Scotia and North America.

She has also showcased her versatility through collaborations with other artists, including Hatfield’s “T.B.M.” in February 2022, Tommy Green Jr.'s Burning One For Love in May 2023, and HARMZ’s Better Watch in September 2023. Beyond these musical endeavors, Lindsay is expanding her involvement in the industry, particularly in the TV and film sectors. She provided vocals for three actresses in the local film The Madones, directed by Barrie Dunn, which premiered on February 16, 2024.

Recently, Lindsay was exported to Nashville to write and record new music with a three-time GRAMMY Award–winning producer, marking another major step in her creative evolution, with the resulting material expected to be released in late 2026.
