Notably, Lindsay has been a key figure in the Halifax music scene as the leader and lead vocalist of the nine-piece Soul and R&B band Lindsay Misiner & The 7th Mystic. The band achieved local success with the release of their self-titled full-length album on April 12, 2023, which earned nominations for “Best R&B/Soul Recording of the Year” at the 2024 East Coast Music Awards, as well as “Best R&B/Soul Recording of the Year” and “Best New Artist Recording of the Year” at the 2024 Music Nova Scotia Awards. The band toured throughout the East Coast from 2015 to 2023 and was also nominated for Best R&B Band in The Coast’s Best of Halifax in 2023.

In addition to her work with the band, Lindsay has actively built a thriving solo career—performing hundreds of shows, consistently releasing new music, and collaborating with other artists. In April 2024, she released her single “LOVE,” along with a live in-studio video, which received an enthusiastic response. She followed this with a series of singles leading up to her second album.

In 2026, she received two East Coast Music Award nominations for “Breakthrough Artist of the Year” and “Soul/R&B Recording of the Year.” These nominations speak directly to the growing efforts and buzz surrounding Misiner’s career.
